ARA ADVISERS, LLC
MBA Summer 2027 Associate
About Ara Partners
Founded in 2017, Ara Partners seeks to build and scale companies with significant decarbonization impact, specializing in buyout, process technology rollout and infrastructure investments. Ara targets businesses in hard-to-abate sectors across North America and Europe including industrial and manufacturing, chemicals and materials, energy efficiency and green fuels, and food and agriculture. Ara Energy acquires, optimizes and economically decarbonizes essential conventional energy assets: thermal power generation, biofuels production, and fuel delivery and distribution. It buys operating, cash-generating assets and improves their performance, reliability and emissions intensity.
Ara invests in proven technologies, backs businesses that help these to grow, and builds decarbonization infrastructure. As of June 30, 2026, Ara Partners has approximately $10.6 billion of assets under management. By implementing industry leading carbon accounting and focusing on two primary pillars – emissions reduction and waste management, Ara is able to identify businesses centered at the nexus of emissions reduction and financial returns, investing in those that most strongly demonstrate this collinearity to accelerate the transition to a lower carbon economy. Ara Partners closed its third private equity fund in December 2023 with over $2.8 billion in capital commitments, its first Infrastructure Fund with $800 million in capital commitments in April 2025 and is raising a $1.5 billion Energy fund currently. The company operates from offices in Houston, Boston, Washington, D.C., and Dublin.
Ara fosters a culture of shared entrepreneurial spirit and intellectual curiosity. The firm prioritizes ideas over egos, embraces flexibility over rigid bureaucracy, and champions collaboration over knowledge silos. Ara’s Partners empower the team to explore new ideas and drive meaningful progress forward.
Ara Partners is seeking MBA Summer Associates to join our Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Energy teams for the summer of 2027. The Summer Associates will support the investment team (Private Equity and Infrastructure Summer Associates will be based in Boston and Energy in Houston).
